The Cry from Bomarzo, 2001, Running Women Press. Paula Hocks blends historic and contemporary photos with her own essays and historic commentary to speculate on the mysteries of a 16th-century Italian sculpture garden called Bomarzo. Perhaps her most ambitious project, Bomarzo appeared at the end of Hocks’ career and brought together her interest in art, architecture, music and literature.
